Review of Indepentent labels vs major record labels

Universal Music Group is an major record label is a conglomerate owned by owned by Vivendi, It is the second largest music group in the world.

The company mostly focuses on business deals and contracts and tries to sell as many digital copies as possible from A-list artists, they do not show less known artists as they want to make as much money as possible and this can only be done by attracting the majority of the consumers to buy their bands products.

Independent music groups such as XL recording  however have much more focus on the artists.
On the front page of the website it has recent news of the artists and information on a new song in bold.

The website also features a recent video made by one of their artists.

The top of the websites are links directly to the artists websites which all of them can be accessed by the first page, the website is more  user friendly and seems to be designed for a music fan instead of being designed to show off achievements and branding for their company.
