On Itunes Taylor Swift had the Number 1 album on release. The Applications allows to to buy the song and then download it straight to your device. This is much easier and lazier than going to the shop and buying the album. More so that if you go to the shop it could have been sold out or the shop could just not sell it entirely.

Itunes has a rating and review page so that you can see peoples opinion of the song/album before buying it. Also their is a related page that shows and updates on what people who brought the song also brought including her other songs and similar artists. Using Itunes to sell copies is good way of selling songs as other artists songs may have you in there related page which means more people hear the artists music.
