Reflecting Back on AS

Our AS year has been crucial to understand music videos further as we learnt the main skills to be able to develop our own. Within the AS year we learnt how to use software and equipment in the most efficient ways as possible to ensure that we get clear recordings of everything we have done. 

In the 3 weeks we came back to do A2 lessons we made our own remake of a music video. My group chose Oops i Did It Again by Britney Spears. We had to take many things into consideration, like the way we were going to film, where and also take into account costumes and props.

Luckily the original music video was set in a school, which was perfect for us as we quickly found a room suitable to film. We also had the scenery around to make it more realistic, which worked out very well! 

We took this as an opportunity to get familiar with the transition from thriller openings to music videos. We learnt how to use base tracks and different camera shots to make everything flow and look professional in my opinion our music video turned out really good!
